세계불교학대회(2020년 8월 우리나라에서 개최) 개인발표 신청 안내

여러 차례 공지해드린 바와 같이 내년 8월16일부터 21일까지 서울대학교에서 제19차 세계불교학대회(IABS Congress)가 개최됩니다. 주지하시듯이, 패널 선정은 모두 완료되었으며, 이에 덧붙여 총 23 Section에 걸쳐서 개인발표 신청을 받습니다.

지금부터 42년 전 미국 컬럼비아 대학에서 제1차 대회가 개최되었고, 최근의 제18차 대회는 캐나다의 토론토 대학에서 개최되었습니다. 이번 대회는 우리나라에서 처음 열리는 참으로 흔치 않은 기회입니다. 첨부한 안내문 참조하시어 두루 알려주시고 적극 신청해주시기 바랍니다. 안내문의 요점은 다음과 같습니다.

섹션에서 발표하고자 하는 분은 본 대회 웹사이트(http://iabs2020.snu.ac.kr/submission/)에 영문 500단어 이내의 논문 초록(proposal)을 탑재하기 바랍니다. 온라인 신청을 위한 웹사이트는 2019년 11월 15일에 종료됩니다.신청 논문의 선정 여부는 2020년 1월 15일에 이메일로 알려드립니다.

* 등록 및 등록비용

제19차 세계불교학대회 참여를 희망하는 분은 대회 등록비(registration fee)를 납부하여야 합니다. 등록비는 학자와 일반인은 300 USD이고 학생은 250 USD입니다. 등록비에 대회 입장, 자료집, 환영 환송만찬, 매일 점심식사,오전 오후 다과비용 등이 포함됩니다.

등록은 온라인에게 하게되며 (http://iabs2020.snu.ac.kr/registration/), 2019년 9월 1일에 오픈됩니다. 등록할때 먼저 IABS 웹사이트 (http://www.iabsinfo.net)를 통해 IABS(세계불교학회)의 회원으로 가입하고 2020년도 회비를 납부해야 합니다.
