KSEG International Symposium on Geophysics for Discovery and Exploration

Dear colleagues,
It is our great pleasure to invite you to the “International Symposium on Geophysics for Discovery and Exploration” to be held at the International Convention Center (ICC) of Jeju Island, Korea on September 19-21, 2012. The symposium is sponsored by the Korean Society of Earth and Exploration Geophysicists (KSEG) and cosponsored by the Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists (ASEG) and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists of Japan (SEGJ).

The symposium encourages researchers to submit Abstracts of just one A4 page. Authors are requested to submit their works online at our website (http://2012symp.seg.or.kr). The authors can opt for either oral or poster presentation of their work. The submitted abstracts will be reviewed and acceptance notice will be informed in advance to authors. Abstract submission will close by June 30, 2012.

The abstract written in English, should be an abbreviated, accurate representation of the work and relevant to one or more topics of technical program as listed below;
Gravity and Magnetic
Seismology
Petroleum Geophysics
Mining Geophysics
Engineering and Environmental Geophysics
Geothermal and Groundwater Exploration
Etc.

KSEG is not able to support travel expenses for speakers. Please, do not submit an abstract unless at least one author is certain to attend the symposium. For the certainty, the correspondent author should pre-register before July 31 (Tuesday), 2012.
