Please note that, due to several requests, the abstract submission deadline for the International Conference on Geotechnical Engineering at ICGE13, is postponed to 30th April, 2012. Also, you are kindly informed that all information about the conference venue and scientific activities is now updated in the conference web site: www.icge13.com.
Please, visit it regularly in order to have all these updated news. Especially, you are kindly requested to notice that the hotel accommodation and registration fees are now detailed in the web site(please have a look on the website of the hotel conference:http://www.medina-mediterranea.com).

Moreover, we are happy to announce that:

-The International Geosynthetics Society(IGS)officers decided to give the IGS Auspices to our third International Conference on Geotechnical Engineering (ICGE13). Also, during the ICGE13 conference, the President of the IGS, Professor JORGE G.will present a keynote lecture entitled: �Advances in the Use of Geosynthetics in Geotechnical Engineering.

-Four other keynote lectures will be planned during the conference.
-A selection among the best accepted papers to be resented in oral sessions of ICGE'13 will be proceeded by the scientific committee. The list of selected papers will be forwarded to the editorial board of the Geotechnical and Geological Engineering of Journal(GGE, Springer). It might be taken into consideration the inclusion of selected papers within a special issue of GGE journal. Once the launch of special issue will be approved by the editorial board of GGE journal authors of selected papers will be informed about the process of paper submission in the special issue.
